John Swanson, President of Bildon Parts & Service Inc, is elected President of CFESA

May 2009 – John Swanson, President of Bildon Parts & Service Inc., Livonia, MI was elected president of the Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) at the annual spring conference in Chicago. Swanson’s term as president started in May 2008, and he will serve a two year term as president of CFESA.

Established in 1963, CFESA has over 450 members. Its mission is to anticipate trends and provide services and education to raise standards of performance, help its members meet the challenges of the industry and ensure customer satisfaction.

John has always been a very active member of the association. He was has been a co-chair of the marketing committee for several years, along with Tina Reese former president of CFESA. John and Tina are responsible for spear-heading the foodservice industry career DVD entitled, “Foodservice Careers – A Solid Choice”. The DVD explores the foodservice industry as an ever changing and evolving community which offers job security and benefits that will appeal to a wide audience. Many employees gain valuable experience and develop long-lasting relationships working within the industry.

Founded in 1969, Bildon Inc has been a CFESA member since 1973.  John and his staff are looking forward to celebrating their 40th anniversary in the foodservice industry in May of 2009. You may visit the website at www.bildoninc.com.
